The Badass Business Lab is facilitated by me (Ben), an ILM Level 7 executive coach, business owner for over 14 years, and someone who has navigated burnout, built teams, and learned the hard way what gets in the way of growth.
I don't give advice. I help you figure out what you already know but aren't acting on. And why. What your brain is doing that's keeping you stuck. How to move beyond the emotions and patterns that are quietly running the show.

What is the Badass Business Lab?
Not networking. Not another course where someone tells you what to do. The Badass Business Lab is an accountability group for business owners looking for growth without sacrificng their lives.
Just a small group of people who show up, share what's actually happening in their business (the good, the messy, the stuck) and hold each other to actually following through.
Real problems. Honest conversations. No performance required.
The Lab runs on the third Thursday of every month at The Guild, Carlisle.
There are a maximum of seven members. Which means there's proper space to talk, proper accountability, and no hiding at the back.
How does it work?
Each session, you get three hours to work through what's actually in your way. Not what sounds good to say out loud.
The difference between the Lab and a peer group is what happens in the room. Ben facilitates every session as an ILM Level 7 qualified executive coach, the highest coaching qualification available. That means someone who can hear what you're saying, spot what you're not saying, and ask the question that shifts something.
Because often it's not the business problem that's the problem. It's the story you're telling yourself about it. The fear dressed up as a practical objection. The pattern you can't see because you're too close.
That's where the real work happens.
You'll also get fresh perspective from people who run businesses themselves and have no agenda other than seeing you succeed.
You'll leave with clear actions, and next month, you'll have to report back.

Who am I?
I've been in the mess.
I'm Ben. I built my own company, Alterline, from my kitchen table. Made every mistake - hired the wrong people, got into debt, burned out. Then rebuilt it into something that actually worked, and runs without me.
I've worked as a consultant across the private, public and third sectors - from global pharmaceuticals to small charities.
I combine 14+ years running businesses with an ILM Level 7 coaching qualification and I'm working with Cumbria senior management teams like yours. right now.
I don't have advice for you. I'll ask uncomfortable questions and help you figure out what actually matters for your business.
