Human-first coaching
in Carlisle and Cumbria.
What kind of support might we explore together?
Coaching with me isn’t about ticking boxes or chasing someone else’s version of success. It’s a chance to step back, breathe, and work through the stuff that really matters, in a way that feels grounded, honest and human.
You might come to coaching because:
-
You’re a business owner in Carlisle who feels stuck, overwhelmed, or like you’ve lost the spark that started it all
-
You want to lead with more confidence and clarity, without selling your soul or burning out in the process
-
You’ve built something good, but you’re not sure it fits you anymore, and you need space to work out what’s next
-
You’re carrying a lot (emotionally, mentally, practically) and there’s no one neutral to talk it through with
-
You’re craving more calm, more joy, more alignment in your work, in your leadership, in your life
-
You know you need change, but you’re not quite sure what kind, or how to make it happen

Stuck?
You know what you should be doing, but for some reason you keep putting it off. You're dreading work tomorrow. Sometimes you feel like a fraud. You feel exhausted, stressed, anxious.
You've tried making a plan, prioritised your to-do-list, read a dozen books about how to smash it in business, listened to the grow your business podcast...and you're still stuck.
Stop trying to do it all alone.
A more human solution.
The trouble with relying on external stuff like business advisors, training courses and social media pressure is that it all relies on you, a human, to be confident, decisive and clear enough about what you actually want to make it happen.
Unfortunately, as humans we're naturally wired to find habit comfortable, and change scary. Change is hard. That's why Reflective Rebels focuses on the human behind the business. Human-centred coaching makes change possible.

For results that feel good.
Together, we'll work out what you really want from work and life, and a way to get there that works for you.
Through one-to-one coaching sessions, you'll have the time and space you need to think clearly, understand what's holding you back, and move forward with confidence, towards results that feel good.

What happens in coaching?
1. Talk it through
At it's core, working with a coach is about having someone to talk to. It's amazing how much better and clearer you feel when you untangle the muddle in your head with someone who truly listens.
2. It's about you, and no-one else
Coaching is not about someone else giving you advice. You are the expert in your own life and business. It's working with someone who will help you work out what you want.
3. Deal with the stuff that matters
Coaching will unearth your deeply held beliefs and challenge them to their core, so that you can grow. You will work with your emotions, not keep running from them. This is the stuff that leads to real change.
4. Be truly challenged
This is not a cosy chat. You will face questions that make you really think. If your body is saying something different to your words, you won’t be able to brush it aside. You will do things you would never dream of doing. Change is uncomfortable, but it is rewarding,
5. Trust your own wisdom
Coaching is about giving you the confidence to trust in yourself. It's about freedom to stop living by external expectations. It's about approaching life, work and relationships in a way that is true to your wild and authentic self. This feels good.
In a location that works for you.
At the Guild in Carlisle

Over a
coffee
We can meet in a local coffee shop where you feel comfy and able to chat.
Outside
in nature
We can work together in the hills or forest, from the Lakes to the Eden Valley, adding the power of nature to our sessions.
Your
office
We can meet at your office if that's where you work best.

Coaching outdoors.
We all know intuitively that getting outdoors and into the natural world improves our physical and mental health. Walking and talking alongside someone can also help you to feel more relaxed, allowing you to open up more.
Sometimes, all it takes to solve a problem or find a new perspective is a change of scenery. We can either do all of your coaching sessions outside, or just some of them. It's all about what works for you.
How it works.
Meet for coffee
We meet for a coffee and a chat so that you can learn more about the difference coaching can make,

You decide if you want to meet with me weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
We will work together for a minimum of six months, because real change doesn't happen overnight.

What difference does it make?
I have not only overcome challenges but I have understood the reasons why my brain does certain things, it’s been huge for me.
The main thing I have gained is Clarity. Clarity in my vision. Clarity on who I am as a leader. And clarity on my goals. It’s been invaluable.

Becky Mann
B&Co Studio
I have discovered a new confidence in my ability to meet challenges at work. He has enabled me to understand myself and my motivations better, which has led to me developing a completely new set of skills.
His support, careful questioning and reflective approach has helped me to become a better manager and a more thoughtful practitioner. It has not been easy, and he has made me work hard, but what a difference he has made!!

Helen Ward
Susan's Farm
He 'gets' me and helps me see things that are right in front of me but I can't always see. He has developed my self belief and confidence in my abilities and has helped steer OMG into a new and exciting phase of growth.
