Hares

We’re told that creativity is a luxury. That play is for children. That adults should be productive, polished, perfect. Bollocks to that!

This Reflective Rebels gathering is an invitation to get your hands dirty ( literally!) and reconnect with the part of you that remembers how good it feels to make something just for the joy of it.

Guided by Kim at her KAH Ceramics studio, you’ll create your very own clay hare: star-gazing or ears-on-alert, it’s entirely your call. Kim will walk you step-by-step through hand-building with stoneware clay, adding features and flair to bring your hare to life.

Why this matters

This isn’t about creating the perfect sculpture. It’s about letting go. About showing up with curiosity, not critique. As Brené Brown says, “Creativity is the way I share my soul with the world.” This is an afternoon of imperfect creativity, connection with like-hearted folk, and permission to play.

What’s included:

  • 2-hour guided pottery session with Kim

  • All materials and firing

  • Option to paint your hare on the day and have it finished by Kim

  • Tea, coffee, snacks, and good conversation

  • A little reminder that joy doesn’t have to be earned

  • Gentle reflection prompts and light-touch facilitation from Ben (that’s me), to help you pause, connect, and take something deeper from the experience than just a clay sculpture

Who it's for:

This is for you if:

  • You’re feeling stuck or in need of something to shake up your routine

  • You miss doing things with your hands

  • You want to explore creativity in a low-pressure, joy-filled way

  • You’re a Reflective Rebel at heart (or curious to be one)

Let go of perfect. Pick up the clay. Let’s play.
