Where Rebel Founders meet. Business roundtables in Cumbria.

A different kind of business gathering. Launching in September.

Running a business can be lonely. Traditional networking can feel forced or superficial. And carving out time to actually think about your business (not just run it) is hard.

Join Rebels Founders' Roundtable, a fortnightly in-person space for business owners and senior leaders across Cumbria who want more than business cards and elevator pitches. Launching in September, it’s space to talk about the real stuff: the questions you’re struggling with, the challenges that keep you up at night, and the messy, meaningful bits of leading something that matters.

A little more information.

What happens at Rebels Business Roundtable?

Each session is designed to give you space to step back, connect meaningfully, and help change your thinking. Each meeting, a member or guest speaker takes the spotlight for a short ‘Rebel Spotlight’ presentation, sharing something they’ve learned, tried, or questioned in their business or leadership journey. Or perhaps, they might bring a challenge they're stuck with and would like to explore. We use the spotlight presentation to spark deeper discussion, exploring the topic, challenging each other and thinking about how we might apply it in action. Every session is facilitated with care, and always ends with a sense of momentum and mutual support.

Where do you meet?

We will meet at Cumbria Wildlife Trust, Houghton. There is free parking and it is just of junction 44 of the M6.

Who is it for?

Rebels Roundtable is for leaders of small businesses who want meaningful connection, headspace to think differently, and the kind of business conversation you can’t find elsewhere.

This group is for you if:

  • You’re open-minded, curious, and committed to personal and professional growth.

  • You care about how you do business, not just what you achieve.

  • You’re willing to support others and be supported.

  • You’re not here to sell,  you’re here to connect, challenge ideas, and think together.

  • You’re interested in showing up regularly and helping shape something powerful over time.

We’re keeping the group small and intentional, so it feels like a trusted circle, not a revolving door. We’re not for everyone, and that’s okay.

Who’s it for?
The Pause is for anyone navigating the demands of work and life who wants to explore mindfulness in a relaxed, real-world way. Whether you’re new to it all or looking to deepen your practice, this is your invitation to step out of busy and into presence.

How much does it cost?

Membership costs £50 per month.  You’re not just paying to chat, you’re investing in a space for reflection, connection, and meaningful personal and business growth. This isn’t your average networking or business event. It’s time out of the daily crap to reconnect with what matters, challenge your thinking, and leave with fresh insight and energy you can take back into life and work.
